Having been schemed out in the run up to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governoship primaries, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe may have decided to return to the Senate.
Feelers from close sources confirmed that after boycotting the PDP guber primary, Abaribe crossed carpeted to the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA where he has reportedly picked nomination form.
This sets the Senator against his Governor Okezie Ikpeazu who has already picked the PDP Senatorialp ticket for Abia South Zone.
Our source said Abaribe has already picked the APGA senatorial form and is set to contest the party’s primary election holding today, Friday, May 27, 2022.
