The PDP new generation, a youth movement of the People Democratic Party PDP in Enugu state has held their last minutes mop up campaigns exercise across the senatorial zones in the state to ensure victory for Atiku Abubakar on Saturday.
Tye group described the Atiku/Okowa ticket as a sure way for Nigerians and the only remedy to the many problems and hardships the APC led government has put the country into.
The state coordinator of the PDP new generation, Comrade Nzekwe Chidi while addressing newsmen stressed the need for the state to give Atiku/Okowa their 100% votes, noting that it is only Atiku Abubabakar out of all other aspirants that has promised to implement the 2014 Confab.
Noting that South-East will benefit more if the confab is implemented, because there will be creation of extra state in the southeast to make it six states just like other geo-political zones.
They also said the Atiku victory will ensure establishmentof southeast development commission to help rebuild the zone from the effect of the civil war.
The state coordinator went further to say that there are more benefits that will come to the zone and Nigeria at large aside the confab implementation, noting that Atiku/Okowa mandate will provide student loans to all the Nigerian students for a hitch and financial stress free education, which after school the government will surely provide jobs for these graduates to enable them repay back the loan.
There will not be a better Nigeria for me and you if not Atiku/Okowa come 2023.
Their visit to the popular New Artisan market in Enugu East senatorial zone was a huge success as they were warmly welcomed.
The team had enough time to interact with several traders and consumers comprising the Igbo and Hausa community who are majorly the traders and consumers, harping on the need to vote for Atiku as the best that can happen to Nigeria this time.
The Southeast Zonal coordinator of the organization Chief Engr. Onu Nwodo who came to monitor the mob-up campaign shared the same view about Atiku/Okowa candidacy as the best for Nigerian growth.
The Mop-up campaign was further extended to other remote villages in the zones, where market men and women were charged to get their PVC’s ready to vote for PDP from top to bottom.
The market men and women were also tasked in making sure that their children who are upto 18 years votes for Atiku Abubakar for president and Barr Peter Mba for Governor Enugu state.
