As the Enugu People’s Democratic Party, PDP Governoship Candidate for the 2023 general elections Dr. Peter Mbah unveils his manifesto today, a former Enugu Counci Chairman Pastor Sam Iyiogwe has given reasons why he will make s good governor.
In a chat with EverydayNewsngr.net Pastor Iyiogwe was ready to put a lot on the line to show his convinction, confidence and belief that Enugu is in safe hands with Dr. Mbah as governor.
The former Chairman of Nkanu East who does not fear to air his views no matter the circumstance, said, ‘by the grace of God Peter is going to win the election and he will win very well.
“He is prepared for the work. He is a product of suffering, a product of pain, and a product of hardwork, because of where we come from. Most of the days in time of our sufferings, because of no road, no infrastructure even Okada (motor cycle) cannot take you to your village; he passed through it.
“We all passed through the pains and sufferings from our childhood till 2012. It was through my administration, under former Governor Sullivan Chime, that we all could drive our cars to our houses. I am sure that Peter cannot, and will not fail our people. He knows the pains of our people, and where he doesn’t remember because of the pressure in govt, some people of good minds around him will tell him.
“I have already positioned myself to be providing blue prints on how to transform Nkanu East and the state; including human transformation and empowerments whether I am in the government or not. My duty will be to provide the necessary information and how it can be achieved. It’s a duty I have assigned to myself and nothing can stop it.
“Peter is well prepared for this work many years now. He was hungry and thirsty for the alleviation of the problems of our people which prompted him to aspire in the past for the Chairmanship position of our local Government area.’
Peter Mbah will today unveil his Manifesto to the people of Enugu State.
Event is scheduled for the Godfrey Okoye University, with a World Press Conference at the NUJ Press Centre.
