Traditional rulers of Ezeagu Local Government Area have blessed the aspiration of former Council Chairman Hon Chukwudi Ezinwa who is contesting the House of Assembly position.
The traditional rulers are also disposed to the zoning arrangement which favours the Ezeagu South Constituency to produce the next Candidate to represent Ezeagu Constituency in the House of Assembly.

Ezinwa who met with the traditional rulers at the Council Headquarters drew their attention to the position of the Ezeagu Equity Movement.
In a letter of notification on sharing of elective positions from 1999, the Equity Movement declared that ‘it is the turn of Ezeagu South Constituency to produce the next Assembly member for Ezeagu.

It read: “we unanimously resolve and declare that Ezeagu North Constituency has completed their tenure of 8 years and it unacceptable to Ezeagu people to allow any zone to go for third term.
Signed by the Chairman and Secretary Sir I.J Achu (KSJ) and Hon (Chief) Nwafor Donatus, the Equity Movement urged the traditional rulers to use their good offices and “advise our people to maintain the politcial peace that was introduced by our amiable Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for peace to reign.
“Any zone or group that wants to destabilize the political peace that exists in Ezeagu Local Government Area should be called to order by the stakeholders and Royal Fathers.”
It was homecoming for the former Council boss, Chief Ezinwa, as workers went wild with jubilation singing his praises.
They also prayed for him his aspiration and wished him success at the party primaries.
