There were celebrations at the Enugu State Fire Service Enugu where water supply have been a major issue for the past fours.
Governor Peter Mbah had promised water to all nooks and crannies of the State in 180 days after his swearing in.
The fire service is a living example of the fulfilment of this promise.
Director, Enugu State Fire Service Engr Okwudiri Ohaa (FNSE) described the development as an astonishing development.
He said: “Our taps are finally flowing with water! This incredible news fills us with immense gratitude towards His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, for delivering on his promise.
“In just 110 days in office, Governor Mbah has already brought about significant changes. The presence of water in our office is a game-changer, sparing us the hassle of constantly visiting the state’s work office to fetch water. As you can imagine, water is essential to the Fire Service, and we can’t express enough how truly grateful we are to the governor for turning our dreams into reality.
“With this remarkable milestone, we are reminded that our tomorrow is here. We salute Governor Mbah and his team for their unwavering dedication to improving the lives of Enugu State residents.”
