It was homecoming for leading House of Representatives candidate in the Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency Chief Wilfred Okeke of the All Progressives Alliance who wrapped up his campaigns ahead Saturday election.
It was an eletrifying environment at the premises of St Peter’s Catholic Church Umumba, Ezeagu where supporters from Udi Local Government joined those in Ezeagu for the last rally.
The special guest of honour at the event was the APGA Governoship candidate Chief Frank Nweke Jnr who praised the Chief Wilfred Okeke for his philanthropy which was re-echoed by both women and youths of the Constituency.
Both the women and youth took time to extol the goodwill of the Reps candidate to both widows, less privileged, youths and the church.
They said it’s pay back time for a man who has dedicated his personal resources to help the poor and the less privileged.
“If he could do all these with his personal money, he will definitely do more when elected. Udi and Ezeagu women and youth have decided that Willy Okeke is our man for House of Reps.”
Speaking at the well attended event the APGA Reps candidate Chief Okeke said “I’m going to Abuja for the poor. What we have seen is a govt of who is your father; I have come to bring Government to the people.
“God has blessed me; I am the one owing God. Thus, I have presented myself for service to my people. It’s our collective project; I won’t disappoint you.”
Also, the APGA guber candidate Chief Frank Nweke reminded the people that for 24 years the PDP has brought disappointments urging them to vote for all APGA candidates, and himself for governor for the desired change.
He promised to provide basic amenities such as water, electricity and good roads for the Ezeagu and Udi rural Communities and provide job opportunities for the youths.
