The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Chidi Mark Obeta, Labour Party (LP) candidate for Nsukka/ Igbo-Eze South federal constituency as winner of Saturday’s National Assembly election.
The Returning officer, Prof Romanus Eze who declared the results said Chidi Obeta scored a total of 50,881 votes to beat his closest rival, Engr Vita Abba of the PDP.
Chief Abba, former PDP state chairman polled 19, 347 votes.
