Hon. Osita Ngwu popularly known as RG has picked the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP ticket for Enugu west Senatorial District.
Hon. Ngwu who lost the House of Representatives attempt in 2019 won the election with 177 votes.
The Enugu born entrepreneur will thus takeover from former deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu who has represented the Zone since 2003.
Three time member of the House of Representatives, Ogbuefi Ozomgbachi came second with 53 votes while Mrs. Akuabata Njeze came a distant 3rd with three votes.
