The Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly and Governoship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rt Hon Francis Nwifuru Thursday escaped death in a road crash.
Details of the road crash were still sketchy as at the time of this report but close source said the candidate was returning from a campaign trip when his convoy got involved in the accident.
The vehicle conveying Nwifuru summersaulted severally, however, the candidate escaped unhurt.
No life was reoprtedly lost in the road crash as at the time of this report but some members of his entourage were said to have sustained some degrees of injury and receiving treatment at a hospital in Abakaliki.
