A Divisional Police Officer DPO attached to the Akanu Ibiam Airport Police Command, Enugu has slumped and died.
The DPO (names withheld) was until his death, serving at the airport station Emene.
The officer who was recently in the news was said to have slumped at the police station on Wednesday, and rushed to the Annunciation Hospital Emene where he was reportedly confirmed dead.
Efforts to get the Enugu Police Command to confirm the report failed as the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Daniel Ndukwe was yet to respond to a message sent to him at the time of this report.
