Former Enugu state governorship aspirant and ex federal Permanent Secretary, Odalije Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa recently lost his elder brother, Chief Edwin Ohaa (Ezinwanne) to the cold hands of death.
According to a statement issued from the Palace of Igwe Moses Ohaa, Amangwu 11, the Head of the Ohaa Nwa Nnaji family and traditional ruler of Amangwu Obuoffia autonomous community in Nkanu West Council Area of Enugu state, the late Chief Edwin Ohaa died on 21st August, 2023 in an Abuja hospital from injuries he sustained following a fatal motor accident on the 8th of August, 2023, in Abuja.
The late Chief Edwin Ohaa was an Abuja based business man before his untimely death. Business associates said he was a philanthropist, community and religious leader whose life and activities had positive impact on the life of many people in his Abuja community as well as his home town.
Family sources said the burial activities would start with a wake keep in his Abuja residence on 14th of September, 2023, followed by the wake in his home town, Obuoffia, Nkanu West Council Area of Enugu state on 5th of October, 2023, and then interment on 6th of October, 2023. He was 66 years old.
