Nollywood Director and former Chairman of Nkanu West Local Government Area, Enugu State Hon Afam Okereke has been kidnapped.
He was reportedly abducted Saturday on his way to Porthacourt.
Our source said the family and friends have embarked on prayers for his safety.
The family is said to have been contacted and the sum of N10 million is being demanded as ransom.
When contacted Enugu Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Daniel Ndukwe said he didn’t have the information but promised to get back to our reporter.
Afam Okereke, Nollywood front line film maker was appointed Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime in 2021.
He later contested and won the Local Government Chairmanship position for Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
