
The National Industrial Court sitting in Abuja has nullified the suspension of the NUJ National Vice President, South East, Prince Petrus Obi, the immediate past National Vice President of NAWOJ, Mrs Chibota Edozie and Mrs Ngozi Agbo who was equally suspended by the national body.

The court equally slammed the sum of N5 million on NUJ as damages to the affected persons whose suspension was declared null and void.
The National President the NUJ, Mr Chris Isiguzo had suspended the affected NUJ members as a ploy to dissuade them from going ahead with certificate forgery case against him.
It was learnt that the current president of the union, Mr Chris Isiguzo lacked the basic academic qualification needed to practice journalism in Nigeria going by the constitution of NUJ. He was also alleged to have presented forged a HND certificate from Federal Polytechnic Okoh, Anambra State where he claims to have studied English Language.
